Full Chat History based memory

Currently, memories are essentially small snippets of text and they depend on either you or the AI deciding to add something to memory.

We believe we can greatly enhance the memory by letting your full chats be used to power the memories instead.

Imagine being able to ask: “Hey what did we discuss about my trip to Japan?”, and the AI is able to pull in relevant details from multiple chats with high information fidelity.

We have run experiments with this, and while it is tricky to implement, the results are amazing, it’s a step-change in the usefulness of memory.

This feature requires a lot of things to be sorted out before it can deliver the user experience we want, but we are excited about this functionality!
